We want sanctions that CRIPPLE the Russian Government and the Russian Military and the Wealthy who control their country. All this stuff with Visa, Mastercard cancels, social media cancels in Russia which directly effects the Russian people is absolute foolish. Why? There is a massive War going on right now for dialogue. The dialogue is......the truth about Putin's crazy agression and evil invading a sovereign country versus the Russian people seeing this as an attempt by the west to stick it to them. We want to win the dialogue war. This social media and cancellation of the Russian citizen is emotionally great, it feels good to us.....at first. But, when these things happen, it can actually help sway the Russian people in support of the war which is craziness. You want to leave the Russian Government and Military with little hope and only a tiny slice of a way out, but you do not want to leave the Russian people as perceiving this as "no way out." These things are actually not going to help the Russian people hate Putin more as Russian as already cut off all Western media. They are already giving a one sided story and they will use it to sway the Russian people. It's these type of escalations that many think are "cool points" that can lead to disaster, and so many people just don't get it.....until disaster happens.
